Diana Mesquita é doutorada em Ciências da Educação pela Universidade do Minho em 2015, na especialidade de Desenvolvimento Curricular. É Professora Auxiliar convidada na Faculdade de Educação e Psicologia e investigadora no Centro de Investigação para o Desenvolvimento Humano da Universidade Católica Portuguesa.
Participa em diversos projetos de investigação nacionais e internacionais, bem como possui uma vasta experiência na dinamização de atividades de formação e desenvolvimento profissional de professores em todos os níveis de ensino. É autora e coautora de várias publicações de artigos em conferências, capítulos de livros e revistas internacionais.
