This programme is a Joint Ph.D. degree, awarded by three universities: Universidade Católica Portuguesa (Portugal); Universitat Ramon Llull (Spain); and Nottingham Trent University (UK). The programme offers an international research background, starting in the first year, as junior researchers are supervised by three researchers, one from each partner university. The programme includes an international research internship (mobility) at, at least one of the partner institutions.
